HotNews:MASSOB call for unity to release Nnamdi Kanu from detention

abaloaded-com.jpg

– MASSOB has released a new statement on
their tactics for the release of Nnamdi Kanu
– However, his supporters emphasized
that Biafra is bigger, wider, taller, than
anybody else
The Movement for the Actualization of the
Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has
issued a statement calling on its supporters
and stakeholders to combine forces in battle
for the release of their leader Nnamdi Kanu
from detention and implementation of Biafra
sovereignty plans into reality.
In a statement by Comrade Samuel Edeson,
the national director of information of
MASSOB, the movement members said:
“We should concentrate our energies,
synergies, diplomacies, connections,
affiliations and strengths on the release of
Nnamdi Kanu, our brother, a major arrowhead
of new Biafra struggle and other possible ways
of uniting our forces together for greater
actualization of Biafra.
MASSOB reaction is borne out of regards and
respect we have for IPOB as a stakeholder in
Biafra project, it was unfortunate that
unguided & amateur statements were set
against the person of our leader. Biafra is
bigger, wider, taller, deeper & fatter than
anybody including Nnamdi Kanu, Ralph
Uwazuruike, Uchenna Madu, Dozie Ikedife &
others. Biafra interest is also bigger than
groups or personal interest.
Until we start building serious synergies and
form a common Central front among the
genuine and selfless Biafran groups, Biafra
actualization may take longer period. MASSOB
expresses surprise on the negative reactions
and insinuation of some leaders of IPOB over
the comments of our Leader concerning public
outburst of Supreme Council of Elders and
IPOB.
It was very unfortunate that our Leader,
Comrade Uchenna Madu was misunderstood
by some people who had alleged and
insinuated sabotage by Uchenna Madu. We’re
not deterred or disturbed by the
misinformation of some media group or
express allegations by some people because
clear conscience fears no false allegations,
Uchenna Madu can never sabotage or betray
Biafra which he has suffered most, MASSOB
understand that great heroes must be
criticized even they are innocent unless they
are indicted. We have discovered that Nigeria government
and some people both inside and outside the
Biafran struggle are not comfortable with joint
forces of MASSOB and IPOB. Leadership is not
telling people what to do but showing and
leading by example, with this assertion,
Nnamdi Kanu has proved his authentic
leadership of IPOB which MASSOB never
denied.

LATESTNews:Fuel hike is Buhari’s first year gift to Nigerians - Fayose

fuel-scarcity.jpg

– Fayose says the pump price of petrol
increase is one of the gifts of President
Muhammadu Buhari to Nigerians to
celebrate his one year in office
– The governor said the federal government
was indirectly collecting N58.50 naira tax
from suffering Nigerians on each litre of
petrol they buy
– He says under Buhari/APC, it is almost
certain that Nigerians suffering will continue
till 2019
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has
described President Muhammadu Buhari’s
one year in office as a ‘colossal waste,’
Premium Times reports.
According to the governor, the increment in
the pump price of petrol is one of the gifts
of President Muhammadu Buhari to
Nigerians to celebrate his one year in office.
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has
described President Muhammadu Buhari’s
one year in office as a ‘colossal waste,’
In a statement titled; “Petrol Price Increment
as Buhari’s 1st Year Anniversary Gift to
Nigerians” which he personally signed, the
governor said the federal government was
indirectly collecting N58.50 naira tax from
suffering Nigerians on each litre of petrol
they buy.
The statement read: “Despite his electoral
promise to reduce petrol pump price from the
N87 per litre that he met it, President
Muhammadu Buhari increased the price to
N145! With this increment, Buhari has further
impoverished Nigerians.
“Nigerians should be reminded that on April
14, 2015, President Buhari’s ally and former
Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof. Tam
David-West, told Nigerians that Gen.
Muhammed Buhari (who was then President-
elect), will reduce the fuel pump price from
N87 to N40 per litre. Buhari did not debunk
this statement made by his friend and major
supporter.
“Also, when the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan
reduced the petrol pump price from N97 to
N87 per litre in January 2015, former Lagos
State Governor who is now Minister of Works,
Power and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola
said N10 reduction of the petrol pump price
was too low and that Nigerians will get a
better deal under Buhari. Fashola tweeted on
January 18, 2015; ‘On PMS price reduction by
N10. Now they listen. Oil the raw material
drop over 50%, N10 is just about 10%. Good
try but Nija can get a beta deal.’
“In rewarding Nigerians for electing him as
president, President Buhari opted to increase
petrol pump price by N58.50!
“The first justification of the increment was
removal of subsidy. But Nigerians were later
stunned when the Vice President, Prof Yemi
Osinbajo said pump price of petrol was
increased because Nigeria was broke!
“In other words, President Buhari increased
petrol pump price because the country was
broke and it needed to shore up its revenue
base. The N58.50 added to the previous pump
price of N86.50 was an Indirect Tax imposed
on each litre of petrol purchased by Nigerians.
“Simply put, the federal government is
indirectly collecting N58.50 naira tax from
suffering Nigerians on each litre of petrol they
buy. Buhari is no doubt acting like the
proverbial Agbalowomeri Baale Jontolo (Aking
that exploit his extremely poor subject to
further enrich himself).
“It is on record that on May 2 this year, the
federal government, in the Petroleum Product
Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) Template
released in Abuja, told Nigerians that it was
subsidising petrol at N12.62 per litre.
“In 2012 when the Dr Jonathan removed fuel
subsidy and increased petrol price to N141
per litre, crude oil was selling at $111 per
barrel.
“If not wickedness, how can petrol price be
increased to N145 per litre when crude oil is
now selling at $49 per barrel?
“Increasing petrol pump price by N58.50 when
the federal government claimed it was
subsidising the product at N12.62 per litre is
clear wickedness on the part of President
Buhari.
“In the history of Nigeria, increase in price of
petrol has never been as high as it was done
by Buhari, putting Nigerians in severe hardship
as the product affects every sector of the
economy.
“Too bad, those who opposed removal of fuel
subsidy in 2012 and funded the Occupy
Nigeria protest are the ones canvassing
support for this Buhari’s wicked one year
anniversary gift to Nigerians.
“The labour unions are now completely cowed,
dashing completely hope of the common
people of Nigeria.
“Interestingly, this is not the first election
promise by APC/Buhari that have been
jettisoned since they got into office. The
N5,000 unemployment benefits promised the
downtrodden was derisively put down by this
President as “largesse” with the president
spurning the emotional plea of his own wife to
the contrary. To add salt and insult
unto injury, he travelled abroad to make the
statement.
“Despite the mindless and indefensible hike in
fuel price, the commodity is still not available.
Minister of state for Petroleum says there is
no forex to pay for fuel import; yet there is
forex to indulge Buhari’s foreign-trip
profligacy.
“Presidential spin doctors and APC chieftains
labouring to hoodwink the people speak glibly
of how so-called deregulation will make
products available, reduce cost through
competition and the interplay of market forces
as well as encourage private sector to build
more refineries. But thank God who loves
Nigerians so much, the lies of these people
was by divine arrangement, I suppose,
revealed by no less a person than the junior
minister Ibe Kachikwu himself when he said
importation of fuel continues till 2019.
“Nigerians should be reminded that the
manner of hardship being faced now was also
faced during Buhari’s first coming as a military
dictator when people had to queue for
essential commodities. Now, Nigerians can’t
even afford common tomato to prepare soup.
“So Nigerians you have heard the truth: Under
Buhari/APC, it is almost certain that our
suffering will continue till 2019.
“Nigerians, remember I warned you before
Buhari was elected; I have been warning you
since Buhari became president and I am
warning now that if nothing is done urgently,
the economy of Nigeria will collapse.”
Meanwhile, the Northern youth under the
aegis of North East Youth
Peace Development and Empowerment
Initiative has called on Governor Fayose to
apologize for his previous comments that
no Chibok girl was missing.

ExclusiveNews:Lil-Kesh Finally Reveals why he left YBNL,clears air on adopting Adekunle Gold

abaloaded-com.jpg

Popular Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter
Lil Kesh having dropped his supposed first
single Lyrically, which was immediately
accepted by music lovers both home and
abroad, was officially shot into limelight with his
song Shoki.
Born Keshinro Ololade, the 22-year old singer
few weeks back dropped his debut record label
YBNL for his own label, YAGI in an interview
with NAIJ, speaks on why he left YBNL, his
current relationship with Olamide, his next
project and clears the air on Adekunle Gold’s
exist form YBNL.

Read excerpts of his interview below: Why
choice of YAGI as the label name?
I picked the name because YAGI is the name of
my debut album which mean ‘Young and getting
it’ (YAGI) and it is like me because everybody
knows that is my new logo. I am 22 and I am
doing well for myself. Even with the name the
album talks basically about me; I am just
starting off and I am learning at the same time,
I am getting it. I stand for YAGI and YAGI
stands for me.
You left YBNL at the time when your career is
growing, don’t you think that will affect your
career and stand in the industry?
I am still very much around in the industry and
good stuff is still going to come out from my
stable and YBNL; the fact that I am floating my
own label does not matter and does equally
means I am no longer under YBNL because that
is where a lot of people are getting it wrong.
Olamide and YBNL movement is still managing
me as an artiste and the fact that I have my
own label simply means that YAGI records is
been managed by YBNL. We are still together; I
and Olamide still record in the same studio and
work with same set of producers. As you all
know that YBNL is a family thing and we all
support each other. How is the new label doing?
Like we all know that with YBNL, I had a two
year contract which ended some few weeks
back and the rightful thoughts of Olamide from
time is that his prayer stands firm on all his
label artistes that after two years, all artistes he
signed will not consider signing into another
record label but rather they should be able to
stand on their own and try and help other
people just like he believed in me as well. Was
Olamide in the known that you were going to
float your own label? Off course he was aware
because we have discussed about it before my
contract ended that I was going to float my own
label which he is in total support of as I know I
got his back always.
According to speculations, is Adekunle Gold
also on your YAGI label?
(Ah) My brother Gold is still under YBNL but
most people got it wrong because he designed
the label logo and my album art work. Adekunle
Gold has always been supportive of my label
from day one as well as other people on the
YBNL label. For YAGI records, I am the only
artiste on it; come to think of it where do
people want me to see money from to sign
Adekunle Gold; my bro is expensive just like all
is songs are of good qualities.
Your song ‘Life of a star’ featuring Adekunle
Gold what informed it and the lyrical contents?
My life basically from me not been famous to
me been famous which include the stages and
experiences that comes with life, trying to
adjust to a live of walking peacefully on the
street and people not disturbing you but now
you are restricted to what you can do and what
you can say online. For me that change was
quite difficult because many don’t know how
freely I do my things back then before the fame
came in. Basically, my album is a reflection of
my past, present and probably the future as the
case maybe. Life of a star came as a reflection
of all I have been through, I was actually
mediating when the song vibe came in; so I
called Pheelz the producer that I was ready and
that Adekunle Gold will be dropping few lines
too. The funniest part is that I and Adekunle
went for a show together in Abeokuta and
travelled down to Lagos the following morning
where both lodged in a hotel due to fuel scarcity
then and we had all the recording tools
available and Adekunle did his verse, went back
to sleep, woke and continue and at the end of
the day, the song came out nice.
With your first album doing quite well, what is
next for you?
I thank God for that and I am not relenting
neither am I resting; next for me now is
shooting videos off the YAGI album; mores
singles and better work ahead, planning tours
across the continent and focusing on how to
make my own label stand too. What usually
informs your choice of words? like I said, I get
my words from whatever I hear and what comes
out of my thoughtful thinking; I equally use my
instinct to record.
With several hit singles and an album to your
career; will say you are at the peak of your
career now?
(Laughs) Arrive ke, no I have not my career will
start maybe from next year because I had a
nice year from two years back and this is
another year, I can only hope for God’s favour
and showers of blessing over me. I still remain
positive that this year and other coming years
will be better. I am just at the starting point of
the career as I still have a long way to go. I am
still hustling.
What is your plan with YAGI; are you
considering signing in new acts too?
I will definitely sign in new artists because it is
the legacy Olamide taught us knowing that at
some point I have to look back at when I had
record label and I won’t be nice if I have nothing
to show for it. When I get to that stage when I
think I am capable enough financially,
intellectually; I will also want to discover
someone’s talent in the industry. For now, my
strength basically is for me and makes the
brand big.
Will you say Olamide is a great leader?
Honestly, if there is another percentage after
100, I think Olamide deserves that and more. He
did not make us see ourselves as an artiste or a
celebrity not to talk of letting the fame get into
our heads, instead he made us believe so much
in our potentials and always advice emphatically
that when fame comes tread softly and always
remember where you are coming from. Out of
curiosity, before I was officially signed on YBNL
record, I had moved and studied Olamide as a
person to know what made him successful in
the industry and within a short while, I learnt a
lot from him. One fact people don’t know is that
Olamide does not see himself as been big in the
industry yet, he hustles like he is an upcoming
artistes.

HotNews:Why River State have become a killing field - A.P.C

lil-iyke-logo.jpg

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has
accused Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers of
being responsible for the spate of killings in
the state.
The APC claimed the killings were politically
motivated and called on security agencies to
look into them.
Vanguard reports that this came after
Governor Wike was quoted as saying the
Peoples Democratic Party was poised to
take over power in 2019.
Mai Mala Buni who is the national secretary
of the APC said in Abuja on Wednesday, May
11 that Wike’s comment was to shift
attention from the atrocities he was
committing in the state.
Buni said: “The national secretariat of the
All Progressives Congress, APC, in reacting
to the idle 2019 postulations of the Rivers
State governor, Nyesom Wike, caution
security agencies and Nigerians not to be
hoodwinked by this latest ploy to deflect
attention from the continued and increased
spate of mass killings and violence in the
state.
“In monitored media reports, Nyesom Wike
stated in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State
capital, on Tuesday, that the PDP is currently
being re-organised to takeover the seat of
power in 2019. “The spate of killings in Rivers
State has now assumed genocidal dimensions
with horrendous killing and maiming of
residents and security personnel almost on a
daily basis.
“On Monday, five mobile policemen, including
a deputy superintendent of Police, Mr. Nasiru
Halidu, were ambushed and killed at Okobe in
Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers
State.
“On Tuesday, five persons were killed and
scores injured in attacks in different parts of
the state. The state High Court premises in
Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, also
came under attack.
“Clearly, Rivers State has been transformed
into a killing field. The APC calls on the Police
and other security agencies to, as a matter of
urgency, rise to stop the breakdown of law
and order which has resulted in mass killings
and other forms of violence in Rivers state.”
He said instead of joining words with Wike,
the APC would concentrate on delivering its
campaign promises.
“Since the APC-led administration took over
the governance of the country, the fight
against Boko Haram had been invigorated with
regional and global support and cooperation
against the terror group.”
Earlier, The APC raised alarm over
politically-motivated killings, intimidation and
persecution of it’s members in Rivers state
under the watch of the PDP.
The Rivers state chapter of the APC also
alleged that Governor Wike was running a
parallel country of his own, contrary to the
laws of Nigeria.
